Harry Kane Hits His 400th Club Goal in Bayern’s Win Over Dortmund

Harry Kane continues to rewrite football history.
The English striker scored his 400th career club goal as Bayern Munich cruised past Borussia Dortmund in a dominant 3–1 victory at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night.

Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, has been in sensational form this season and his latest strike cements his reputation as one of Europe’s most clinical finishers. The milestone goal came in the 67th minute, a trademark finish after linking up with Jamal Musiala on a swift counterattack.

Earlier, Leroy Sané opened the scoring for Bayern with a stunning curler, while Leon Goretzka doubled the lead just before halftime. Dortmund briefly threatened a comeback through Donyell Malen’s second-half strike, but Kane’s goal sealed the result and sparked wild celebrations in Munich.

The 31-year-old forward now boasts 18 goals in 10 matches across all competitions this season a remarkable return that has fueled Bayern’s push for another Bundesliga title and Champions League success.

After the match, Kane reflected on his achievement, saying:

“I’m proud to reach 400 goals. It’s a number that shows years of hard work and consistency, but there’s still so much more I want to achieve with Bayern.”

Manager Thomas Tuchel praised Kane’s leadership and relentless drive:

“Harry is the complete striker intelligent, unselfish, and ruthless. He’s lifted everyone around him.”

For Dortmund, the defeat highlights ongoing struggles in high-pressure matches. Edin Terzić’s men looked outclassed for much of the game, failing to contain Bayern’s relentless attacking pace.

With the win, Bayern move four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, while Dortmund remain in fourth facing questions about their title credentials once again.

Match Summary:

Bayern Munich 3–1 Borussia Dortmund

  • Goals: Sané (24’), Goretzka (44’), Kane (67’) – Malen (58’)
  • Man of the Match: Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)

💬 Quote from Harry Kane:

“It’s an amazing feeling to score my 400th club goal. Records are great, but what matters most is helping the team win.
