At Goodison Park on 8 November 2025, Everton ended their goal-drought in emphatic style with a 2–0 victory over Fulham, thanks to goals from Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane. The win offered relief for a side that had struggled for offensive output in recent weeks.
Everton dominated much of the first half but saw three goals disallowed for offside or marginal infringements, fuelling frustration in the home stands. In the 45+4th minute, Gueye opened the scoring with a composed finish from close range from a well-executed corner routine.
Fulham pressed after halftime, but Everton’s defence held firm. Keane sealed the three points in the 81st minute when he headed in a corner delivered by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Manager praised his side’s patience: “We’ve shown belief and organisation. The result gives us a platform to build on.”
The win lifts Everton out of the relegation zone for now and brings celebration to a fan base starved of attacking spark. Fulham’s away woes continue, and the Cottagers must find ways to convert possession into goals if they are to climb the table.
